Great Weekend at the Banana Festival!

We had a fantastic time at the Banana Festival this past weekend. Lots of people stopped by our booth and we were able to give away 35-40 Bibles, several tracts, lots of packs for kids that included Bible books, Bible crafts, and bottles of bubbles, a few DVDs, and several bottles of ice cold water (thanks Glen and Joleen for providing the freezer for the weekend!)

Except for the brief but heavy showers on Friday evening, the weather was perfect for us. The constant breeze coming from the ocean kept us comfortable all weekend, until such times we would venture out of the shade of the canopy. Although we were not all there together at one time, twelve of us manned the booth at some point. It was wonderful to see the participation of the members and to experience the joy that it brought to all of us to work together to spread the love of Christ to our neighbors. We look forward to future opportunities to do this again. ~Wade
